We start our quest in the Netherlands, by interviewing some of the people that have been a source of inspiration to us. We aim to have a variety of people who share their experiences with us, in reconnecting with nature, with themselves and with others, like regenerative farmers, buddhist teachers and active citizens. As we believe any person we meet along the way could be someone that can contribute to our quest, we will also keep our gaze open to the people we meet along the way!

We believe that if we want to build a sustainable society and have a future as humankind, we would do well to not only look outside for solutions, but also inward. We think that the ecological crisis we see emerging (and also social issues like rising depression and anxiety rates) are not the core of the problem, but rather the symptoms of a deeper issue. It is our disconnectedness from nature, our (false) beliefs of who we are, and our lost sense of interconnectedness, that lead up to our unsustainable and even destructive way of being. That is why we think it is vital to address these fundamental questions on how to be human, as a much needed addition to practical solutions.
We hope to find answers by taking seven months off, crossing the most beautiful landscapes of Europe by bike, meeting new people, cultures and perspectives along the way. As we think we may not be the only ones who could do with some positive input, we are posting our findings online. We are looking forward to sharing our personal journey and insights with you, along with the inspiring stories and perspectives of people we meet along the way.

We hope to provide a counterbalance to the predominantly negative news feed, and share inward directed guidance as an addition to more practical solutions outside of ourselves.
